WEBB ROAD EMERGENCY REPAIR PROJECT—NEZ PERCE COUNTY, ID

Keltic Engineering was procured by the Nez Perce County (NPC)  to complete a project to survey and design emergency repair, placement of cap rock, base and asphalt to raise Webb Road approximately 3 feet to address flooding concerns. The project was facilitated through LHTAC and included geo-technical analysis, design, construction staging, environmental review process, and CE&I.  In response, our team performed the planning and design improvements described below:

The team completed a preliminary site visit, review of existing survey data, survey with drone flight footage, analysis and alternatives with proposed costs for raising the roadway.  The design scope for this project included the  roadway design, environmental review process, construction staging plan that was completed on Webb Road to conform with the Nez Perce Tribe requirements, the completion and coordination of a traffic plan on a 2-lane roadway. PS&E included a construction package prepared for contractor’s bidding and an engineer’s cost estimate.  CE&I work included the construction oversight, testing and inspections, review of all submittals, project documentation for the funding agency.
